Details:
The members of AFGE Local 2028 come together in solidarity once a month at a minimum to be informed about Federation and work place news.
The monthly meeting serves as a sounding board for our members , for voting on issues of interest and necessity for the Local , District ,Council , and Federation.
Local 2028 covers two Veterans Administration Medical facilities of approximately 2100 Bargaining unit employees including over 900 Union members.
Our mission is to promote fair work and employment practices , enforce our Local and National contracts protecting our members and all Federal sector Laws and Statutes related to our Agency mission , advocate and protect Civil Rights pertaining to protection of our employees/citizens ,
